Dear SSA Employees,

Here is an important update regarding the presidential leadership transition at Henry Ford College (HFC) and how you, as part of the Support Staff Association (SSA), may be involved.

The HFC Board of Trustees has initiated a national search for the next permanent President of the college.

• The search is being supported by the professional search firm Academic Search, selected by the Board on October 14, 2025.

• HFC has published the composition of the presidential search advisory committee. Notably, the SSA has one (1) seat on this committee

• SSA members who are interested in participating on the Presidential Search Advisory Committee are invited to fill out the interest form by 5:00 p.m., Monday, October 27, 2025.
